And audiences who watch online videos like to share videos. Most online video platforms will have their own social networks. Users can easily forward the videos they are interested in, which will help the advertisements in the videos to spread further. On the other hand, people are more and more interested in watching videos, especially short videos, on mobile devices, so advertisers can consider inserting advertisements in short videos. The advantage of this is that because short videos soon end, people ca n’t wait to go to the next one. Video and ads appear more often. Secondly, video also has a basic advantage is that it has visual and audio. Video ads undoubtedly can capture the attention of the audience and make them more interested, and people are lazy, and video is easier to digest (Wallace, 2019) . In general, online video advertising combines the advantages of video itself and the characteristics of high-speed transmission of online networks, so that advertising can spread faster and more valuable.

    When we open a video on a video site, the first thing we see is an AD, normally, the time of ad between the 30s to 1m. One minute is enough time to describe the main features of the product and attract customer. As you said, when we watch a video on YouTube, we always watch an AD first. If it takes too long, people get bored and irritable. Of course, these ads don’t appear randomly, they also appear after filter through data such as your browsing history. I think it is a very important point for advertisers, but you did not discuss. As Larry Kim (2019) said, filter the audience by behavioural and demographic. Normally, the ad has own tag. If you viewed a lot of makeup video, the makeup’s ad will appear a lot of times. As your friend, I know that you are interested in gaming, so I am sure you have seen a lot of gaming ads before you watch a video.
    As you said in the week 9 blog, Tik Tok is popular now. Actually, Tik Tok is a very efficient tool for advertisers. Now people are more and more busy, less and less time, so people will not spend a long time to watch a video, also will not spend too much time to carefully shopping, so a simple video advertising will be favoured.
